Terms of Service

Using DataForge AI

You must be the rightful owner or authorized user of any data you upload. By using DataForge AI, you confirm that your uploaded files don't violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

Your Data

Your data stays yours. We process it only to run the transformations, reports and exports you ask for, and we don't sell it or use it to train models. You're responsible for keeping your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.

Plans & Limits

• Free — 100,000 row limit per file, 15 credits per day
• Pro — 500,000 row limit, 1,000 credits per month (upon launch)

Files over your plan's row limit can be trimmed to the limit and used, or you can move to a plan that fits. The anonymous trial gives you 4 credits without an account; downloading results and running inspections require an account.

Credits & Billing

Credits refill daily at midnight UTC: 15 on Free, 50 on Pro. Pro's advertised 1,000 credits per month starts when paid subscriptions launch; until then Pro refills daily like Free. Unused credits don't roll over. Only AI work is charged: 2 credits per AI Query transformation, 3 for an AI data inspection, and 2 per Insight Brief on Pro (the first is included on Free). Format conversions, deduplication, missing-value actions and exports of your own data don't consume credits.

Subscriptions are billed via our payment provider, and you can cancel anytime — changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Exports

CSV exports are available on every plan. Markdown and PDF reports are part of Pro.

Sessions & Retention

Sessions let you reopen a past transformation while it's retained — 24 hours on Free and trial, 30 days on Pro. Deleting a session is permanent for that session, and a session that has been deleted or has expired opens read-only: downloads and re-running are disabled. Keep your own copies of results you need beyond your window.

AI Output

Transformations, data inspections and Insight Briefs are generated by AI from the file you supply. They can be wrong, incomplete, or misinterpret an ambiguous instruction. Review the before/after preview and the change summary before using a result.

Refunds

You can cancel anytime, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods or used credits. If something went wrong on our end, email us at dataforge.support@gmail.com and we'll sort it out.

Acceptable Use

Don't upload illegal content. Don't attempt to abuse or reverse-engineer the credit system or API proxy. Don't use the service to build a competing product by scraping or mass-extracting our transformation logic.

Availability

DataForge AI is provided "as is." We aim for reliability but don't guarantee zero downtime. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance — we'll do our best to keep it brief.

Liability

DataForge AI isn't liable for decisions made based on transformed data. Always verify critical outputs before relying on them for business, legal, or financial purposes.

Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll notify users via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
